(Photos) MaRynn Taylor Makes Arena Debut Opening for Kelsea Ballerini in Grand Rapids, MI

Tuesday night, Jan. 21, MaRynn Taylor debuted at her hometown arena, Grand Rapids' Van Andel Arena, for the first stop of her opening stint on KELSEA BALLERINI LIVE ON TOUR.

A dream night for the Rockford, MI native, Taylor opened her seven-song set with "Make You Mine," the CMT “Next Women of Country” (2023) artist's first Top 50 hit on Country radio, showcasing her impressive vocals. MaRynn then treated the Van Andel crowd to tracks from her latest EP, including the title track “Get To Know Me.” The powerhouse vocalist ended her dynamic set with a new song, “same girl same” which became available to pre-save the same day.

Pre-save "same girl same" HERE, slated for a Feb. 21 release on Black River.

"I have dreamed of last night for so long. I dreamed of playing this arena ever since I saw Hannah Montana, Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert in it. I always wondered what that view looks like for them and y’all let me tell you... you look stunning," Taylor shared in an Instagram post yesterday morning (1/22), recapping the unforgettable night.

Ballerini took to Instagram to share her own special ode to the kick-off of KELSEA BALLERINI ON TOUR, giving fans a glimpse backstage with openers MaRynn and Sasha Alex Sloan.

The 36-date tour is set to take MaRynn to impressive arenas across the country, including Los Angeles' Crypto.com Arena and Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. View a full list of dates below, and purchase tickets at marynntaylor.com.

ABOUT MaRYNN TAYLOR

MaRynn Taylor moved to Nashville in 2019 to pursue music and entered an almost dreamlike scenario. Caught in the rain during CMA Fest, she was serendipitously handed a flyer for Black River’s 60-Second Spotlight. That evening, she watched Music Fest from Black River’s suite at Nissan Stadium. On the day of the CMA Awards that year (11/13), she signed her Recording and Publishing deals with Black River during an on-air interview with Bill Cody on the legendary 650 AM WSM Coffee, Country and Cody. Now, Country Music’s fast-rising "female powerhouse" (Country Now) vocalist MaRynn is on the road with Kelsea Ballerini as support on her 36-date KELSEA BALLERINI LIVE ON TOUR, which kicked off in Taylor's hometown of Grand Rapids on Jan. 21, 2025 and is set to make stops at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, Los Angeles' Crypto.com Arena, and more. This fall, Taylor joined Dylan Schneider as direct support on his "Bad Decisions" Tour where she shared her EP, Get To Know Me, featuring MaRynn's folk-infused radio single "How It's Gonna Go," live. With nearly 45 million cumulative streams, 14 Telly Awards, and a CMTs “Next Women of Country” (2023) nod, the rising star made her Grand Ole Opry debut in June of 2023 and returned to the coveted stage only weeks later. Her sassy "Make You Mine" "delivers big notes" (Billboard) and marks Taylor's first Top 50 hit on Country radio. “I genuinely care about people and their feelings. I’m a good listener and want to be there for people. There’s not enough of that in the world right now.” Today, MaRynn is no longer the little girl dreaming on the front porch; she is the voice ready to inspire a generation.
