Black River Publishing Re-Signs Dan Wilson

Nashville, Tenn., April 4: Black River Publishing's VP, Rebekah Gordon, officially announces the re-signing of songwriter Dan Wilson.

An AIMP Rising Songwriter (2021), Wilson joined the publishing company's roster in early 2021. Since inking with Black River, Wilson boasts impressive cuts, including Tucker Wetmore's "Silverado Blue" and Wilson's first Top 50 Country Radio single, "Make You Mine," recorded by fellow Black River writer and artist MaRynn Taylor.

“We are beyond thrilled to continue our creative partnership with Dan for this next chapter," shared Gordon. "Dan’s work ethic, respect for the craft, and integrity-driven approach to songwriting make him a publisher's dream to work with.”

Originally from Greenville, South Carolina, music has been in Wilson’s blood from an early age. He taught himself how to play the drums at age five, and songwriting soon became a passion once he learned a few chords on his father’s hand-me-down Ovation guitar.

“When thinking about the next chapter in my career, there was never a question in my mind of where I wanted to be," expressed Wilson. "The sky is the limit at Black River, and I’m grateful for Rebekah and the entire team’s belief in me as a writer. I'm excited to keep building and growing together!”
