MaRynn Taylor Invites Listeners In with Forthcoming EP, Get To Know Me, Coming This Friday (5/31)
Nashville, Tenn., May 29: As Black River artist and songwriter MaRynn Taylor prepares for her favorite month of the year, she is adorned with a slew of new music, tour dates, and an invitation to join her in celebration this CMA Music Fest.
Last Monday (5/20), Dylan Schneider announced Taylor is slated to join him as direct support on his "Bad Decisions" Tour. Eager to get on the road and perform fan favorites along with tracks from her forthcoming EP, Get To Know Me (5/31), Taylor shared her excitement on Instagram. This summer, the newly signed CAA artist is kicking off her touring season with a set on the Dr. Pepper Amp Stage at this year's 2024 CMA Fest.
“Excited is an understatement for me when it comes to even thinking about going on tour,” admits Taylor. “I’m incredibly grateful to Dylan and his team for making this my first tour. I’ve been dreaming of performing these new songs and wondering what they will look like. To get to sing them on iconic stages like the Troubadour and Exit/In is more than I could ask!”
The "Bad Decisions" Tour is slated to take the CMT’s “Next Women of Country” (2023) artist nationwide for 23 dates where she will perform tracks from the self-reflective, five-track Get To Know Me, including her Top 50 and climbing single "Small Town Spinnin'" (3/1). Taylor is set to make stops at iconic venues including Los Angeles’ Troubadour (10/8) and Nashville’s Exit/In (10/21) before heading to Grand Rapids, MI for a very special hometown show at The Stache (12/6). ABOUT MaRYNN TAYLOR
MaRynn Taylor moved to Nashville in 2019 to pursue music and entered an almost dreamlike scenario. Caught in the rain during CMA Fest, she was serendipitously handed a flyer for Black River’s 60-Second Spotlight. That evening, she watched Music Fest from Black River’s suite at Nissan Stadium. On the day of the CMA Awards that year (11/13), she signed her Recording and Publishing deals with Black River during an on-air interview with Bill Cody on the legendary 650 AM WSM Coffee, Country and Cody. Now, the rising star's garnered nearly 34 million cumulative streams, 14 Telly Awards, was named one of CMT’s “Next Women of Country” (2023), and earned her place as an artist to watch (Country Now, Music Mayhem, Wide Open Country). Her sassy "Make You Mine" "delivers big notes" (Billboard) and marks Taylor's first Top 50 hit on Country radio. MaRynn made her Grand Ole Opry debut in June of 2023 and returned to the coveted stage only weeks later. This Fall, Country Music’s fast-rising "female powerhouse" (Country Now) vocalist MaRynn is slated to hit the road as direct support on Dylan Schnieder's "Bad Decisions" Tour. Eager to share new songs, her new EP, Get To Know Me, is coming on May 31. “I genuinely care about people and their feelings. I’m a good listener and want to be there for people. There’s not enough of that in the world right now.” Today, MaRynn is no longer the little girl dreaming on the front porch; she is the voice ready to inspire a generation.
